10 Abducted Farmers Rescued in Zamfara
Ten farmers who were abducted by terrorists in Zamfara State have been rescued by Nigerian troops.
The abducted people were said to be working on their farms, when bandits attacked them and took them away.
The farmers were, however, freed bytroops on routine search and rescue operation.
“The bandits abandoned their captives at Tsafe Local Government Area when they noticed our troops approaching their hideouts.
“The abductees revealed that terrorists fled when they heard that troops were closing in on them,” said a military source.
The victims have been united with their families, after receiving treatment at the Tsafe General Hospital.
