EPL: Go to Arsenal, not Man United, Declan Rice told
West Ham United captain Declan Rice has been asked to join Arsenal instead of Manchester United this summer.
Rice is keen to leave West Ham United this summer and has been linked with Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United in recent weeks.
Former Scotland and Rangers legend Ally McCoist, who spoke to talkSPORT: “It’s a funny one. If I am Declan Rice and I am weighing up my options, I am thinking I would probably rather go to Arsenal than Manchester United.
“I look at Manchester United over the weekend and over the season – and I know they have won the League Cup – but they look as though they are four or five players behind Manchester City.
“I still think Arsenal are well behind Manchester City, but I think they’ve got the potential to get nearer to them quicker.”
