Tinubu appoints Gbajabiamila Chief of Staff
The outgoing Speaker of the Federal House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, has been appointed Chief of Staff if President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The was disclosed at a meeting between President Tinubu and the nation’s security chiefs at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
Gbajabiamila, an ally of Tinubu, was first elected to the House of representatives in 2003, to represent the Surulere constituency of Lagos state.
Gbajabiamila was the Minority Leader of the House of Representatives in the 7th National Assembly.
He has been Speaker of the House of Representatives since 2015 to 2023.
