Man kills 16-year-old son for allegedly stealing grain
The Kano State Police Command has arrested Sunusi AbdulWahab, father of 16-year-old Mustapha Sunusi, who allegedly clubbed to death his son for stealing millet.
The incident, according to eyewitnesses, sent the village of Tanagar, Warawa Local Government Area into confusion.
“Abdulwahab went overboard in an attempt to instill discipline on his 16-year-old son; he lost his cool and clubbed him to death,” a witness said.
The Kano Police Public Relations Officer, SP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa said the police were on the matter.
He pledged to provide further details on the matter.
