EPL: Man United defeat Crystal Palace 2-1

Manchester United defeated Crystal Palace 2-1 in their Premiership game played on Saturday at Old Trafford.

Manchester United had to struggle to ward off the attack of Crystal Palace in the later part of the second half as Casemiro was sent off after committing a red card offence.

Rashford continued his scoring run in the game which moves United up three points.

United has also progressed to the final of the League Cup in midweek after comfortably defeating Nottingham Forest across two legs in the semi-final of that competition, but Erik ten Hag’s attention has now turned back to the league campaign.

The Reds lost 3-2 against Arsenal last time out in the Premier League and they’ll be hoping to earn a victory against Crystal Palace this weekend after conceding a late free-kick and dropping two points against Patrick Vieira’s side last month.
