Popular television personality, Piers Morgan, what is going on currently in the United Kingdom is complete shambles.

Indeed, Liz Truss resigned as Prime Minister of the United Kingdom on Thursday, barely two months on the seat.

The lawmaker had defeated Rishi Sunak by 81,326 votes to 60,399 in an internal contest after Boris Johnson’s resignation in July.

She was the Conservatives’ fourth head of the British government since 2015, promising to unleash Britain’s potential by going for growth and removing the obstacles holding the country back.

Reacting, Morgan, a life-long fan of Arsenal, described Truss’ resignation as an absolute shambles, adding that it is over.

“It’s over. Liz Truss is resigning and will become the shortest-serving Prime Minister in British history.

“What an absolute shambles,” Morgan wrote on Twitter.
