Waldrum says friendly game with Japan will test Super Falcons’ World Cup preparedness

Super Falcons head coach, Randy Waldrum, believed the friendly game against Japan will test their preparedness for the World Cup.
The former African champions will take on the Nadeshiko at the Noevir Stadium tomorrow, on Thursday.
The match will be the fourth meeting between both teams with the Nadeshiko having the upper hand.
The Super Falcons have won once, while the Nadeshiko have recorded two wins.
“We play these kinds of games against the best in the world, because we know that’s what it’s going to be like at the World Cup, “Waldrum told a press conference on Wednesday.
“We just got back from the US, playing the USA and now we’ve come here to Japan, to play against one of the world’s best as well”.
Both teams will use the friendly to prepare for the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup to be co-hosted by Australia and New Zealand
