Commonwealth Games: Oshoba wins silver in boxing for Nigeria

Nigeria’s Elizabeth Oshoba on Sunday evening won a silver medal in Boxing women’s featherweight at the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games.
The Nigerian boxer won the silver after she lost all five rounds to Northern Ireland’s Michaela Walsh at the National Exhibition Centre (NEC), Birmingham, who win the gold.
Oshoba is the only Nigerian boxer in the final of the boxing event at Games.
Earlier, Oshoba had defeated Australia’s Tina Rahimi 4-1 in the semifinals.
