Cataract is a preventable eye disease, yet it causes over 70 percent of blindness cases globally. What causes this medical IRONY? Cataract cannot be prevented medically. Rather, doctors delay surgery – cataract only medical “solution” until it fully ripes for surgery, which in lay man language means until the eye lens damaged. The damaged lens is removed surgically and replaced with artificial one (silicone) .
